Connecting the countryside

Where the city of Doesburg meets its the scenic Dutch countryside, we designed a soft transition. In the green neighborhood ‘De Ooi’, 95 dated dwellings will be replaced by 93 energy-neutral houses. The public space is designed to be flexible towards the future, with lots of green to support the natural climate and stimulate water cycles. These family and life-course proof houses will be build in several phases.
